Group training classes are the best way to train your dog to be mannerly in the midst of distractions. We offer three different group classes options:
Optimal Beginnings: Dog Training 101
Optimal CGC: Canine Good Citizen Training
Optimal Skills for Service & Therapy Dogs
In Optimal Beginnings: Dog Training 101, we focus on teaching foundational manners and basic obedience skills. This introductory course helps your dog learn essential commands and proper behavior while introducing our trademarked Optimal Walking techniques.
The Optimal CGC: Canine Good Citizen Training class prepares dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 10-item skills test, with testing conducted at the end of the session. This intermediate-level course requires successful completion of the Optimal Beginnings class for enrollment.
The Optimal Skills for Service & Therapy Dogs class focuses on enhancing the skills necessary for dogs to provide comfort to the community or assist their handlers in specific tasks. This advanced-level course requires passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test prior to enrollment.
